Goodness I have been busy

Ive just updated my CV and realised how busy i have been.

My most recent new Moving Image is due to receive its first public airing at the 51zero arts festival on 10th, 11th and 12th October 2014 as part of a group exhibition at Pop Gallery, 64-66 High Street, Chatham.

51zero is a film, video and digital arts festival focusing on independent artists’ film and video, and expanded moving image practice incorporating performance, sculpture and sound work. It brings together works that reflect upon the distinct regions of Medway and Northern France by artists based in both the UK and France. The festival was first established in 2012 and Pop Gallery is only one of the sites it has to offer – the show extends across several unusual and unique locations within Medway so should make an interesting trip for visitors.

There are two chances to meet the artists; at the festival opening on Friday 10th October from 6pm and at a presentation of the artists and their work on Sunday 12th October. More information about the festival will be published as it becomes available. For those unable to make the festival, I’ll release a Vimeo copy of the film after the show closes.

The Research Behind Rhythm Plasticity

This is a layered audiobook detailing the intertextuality notion of an active reader and the Rhizome theory.

This is the research method behind my practice of fine art, neuroscience and rhythmanalysis.

To have a thought, to move a finger, to take a breath

The additional layering of the projected movie increases the anticipation that something will happen-this is the point; the amazing is happening in every moment, with every thought, every movement and every breath…

There is no grand finale this just adds to the frustration.
